Rudiments

Rudiments are the building blocks of drumming.

Just like you need to know words to speak, you need to know rudiments to play.

There are 40 basic rudiments, but these 26 will take you far!

Reading Music

To be a full PERCUSSIONIST, you must know how to read music

Practice reading notes:

https://www.musictheory.net/exercises/note

Notes on the spaces spell "FACE"

1st space is F, 2nd space is A, 3rd space is C, 4th space is E

Notes on a line - Every Good Boy Does Fine

1st line - E, 2nd line - G, 3rd line - B, 4th line - D, 5th line - F

Sharps raise a note, flats lower a note, natural means no sharp or flat
