To be a full PERCUSSIONIST, you must know how to read music
Practice reading notes:

Notes on the spaces spell "FACE"
1st space is F, 2nd space is A, 3rd space is C, 4th space is E
Notes on a line - Every Good Boy Does Fine
1st line - E, 2nd line - G, 3rd line - B, 4th line - D, 5th line - F
Sharps raise a note, flats lower a note, natural means no sharp or flat

Scales

Like Rudiments, the more scales you know, the more music you can play
